In this 4-session live interactive webinar series on how to take the best and safest possible x-rays, Dr. Marshall Deltoff will present an overview of proper patient positioning and optimal factoring for standard and special views of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spinal regions. Additionally, upper extremity, lower extremity, skull and chest positioning and factoring will be covered. Relevant normal anatomy will be reviewed for each view, along with appropriate clinical indications, and sample abnormalities will be presented. If time permits, a clinical rounds of x-ray technique troubleshooting will be offered. Dr. Deltoff’s goal is to increase your confidence in performing relevant, safe, high quality radiographic examinations for your patients.
Sessions will be recorded and accessible after the live sessions, for those who need to review again or start later in the series!
Dr. Marshall Deltoff, DACBR, FCCR (Can), FEAC, is a 1983 honors graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. He has over 40 years of academic, clinical and regulatory experience, having performed and read over 140,000 plain film x-ray examinations. He is the co-author of The Portable Skeletal X-Ray Library, a textbook of radiological bone diseases, as well as several book chapters, manuscripts and research papers. Marshall has served as the President of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario, the regulatory body for over 5,000 DCs in that province. Currently, he is Professor of Radiology at Barcelona College of Chiropractic. Marshall can be reached at marshdel@yahoo.ca.
