Many practitioners encounter patients who continue to experience chronic pain, recurrent injury patterns, persistent symptoms or treatment-resistant presentations despite appropriate structural, biochemical and neurological interventions.
This advanced seminar explores how trauma, chronic stress and communication patterns influence nervous system regulation, biochemistry and physical structure, and how these factors interact to shape clinical outcomes.
Ulf Sandström presents an integrative, trauma-informed framework that complements Applied Kinesiology and manual therapy approaches while providing practical tools that can be integrated into everyday clinical practice.
Participants will explore trauma as a state of the nervous system, the role of survival responses in persistent symptoms, and practical methods for supporting nervous system regulation safely and effectively.
Learning Objectives
Participants will:
• Develop a deeper understanding of trauma as a nervous system state
• Explore the relationship between stress physiology, biochemistry and structural adaptation
• Understand Fight, Flight, Freeze and Collapse responses
• Improve practitioner–patient communication
• Learn practical nervous system regulation strategies
• Explore Trauma Tapping and Havening techniques
• Gain confidence working with complex and treatment-resistant cases
• Learn trauma-informed approaches that can be integrated into everyday practice
