Module 2 of the ICAK-accredited Applied Kinesiology Foundation Course is a practical, hands-on weekend for practitioners who already have previous Applied Kinesiology training and would like to develop, revisit or consolidate their clinical skills.
The weekend focuses on the emotional, craniosacral and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) components of Applied Kinesiology, with an emphasis on integrating these areas into a broader functional and clinical assessment. The teaching is practical throughout, with demonstration, supervised practice and opportunities to refine manual muscle testing and clinical reasoning.
The course is particularly suitable for previous Foundation Course graduates who would like to return to this part of the programme as a refresher, as well as practitioners with other relevant Applied Kinesiology training who wish to deepen their understanding of these areas.
Applied Kinesiology approaches to craniosacral assessment and integration
assessment of the TMJ/stomatognathic system within the wider clinical picture
emotional factors within the Applied Kinesiology framework
the use of manual muscle testing, challenge and therapy localisation within these areas
integrating findings rather than considering individual findings in isolation
practical clinical reasoning and reassessment
Previous experience is required. This is not an introductory manual muscle testing weekend. Participants should already have a working knowledge of Applied Kinesiology and manual muscle testing. Previous graduates of the Applied Kinesiology Foundation Course may attend Module 2 individually. If your previous AK training was completed elsewhere, please contact us before booking so that we can confirm that the course is appropriate for your level of experience.
