This interactive workshop with Dr Mike Marinus covers: 

• The 7 core concepts regarding cranial motion.
• The 8 rules of cranial motion.
• Cranial motion patterns.
• Basic palpation skills.
• Step by step practical evaluation of the movement patterns of occiput, sphenoid, temporals, frontal, ethmoid, vomer, maxillae, palatines, nasals, zygomatic arches and temporomandibular joints.
• Adjusting protocols for skull base, vault and facial structures.
• You will leave this workshop with practical skills that you can incorporate straight away into your patient care.

* Please bring along a doll. Ideally there should be some flex in the doll, so not fully plastic as it would be better if there is some neck and back movement. If you don’t have a doll, a teddy or something similar will do fine. A yoga mat would be handy for comfort (not essential).

Meet Your Speaker Chiropractor Mike Marinus:

Mike has been in private practice since qualifying in 2005, and his love for helping babies and children has shaped his entire career. With a Master’s in Paediatric Musculoskeletal Health and years of teaching experience, Mike brings clarity, compassion, and clinical insight to every talk he gives.

He’s the founder of Connected Paediatrics, a platform supporting chiropractors in paediatric care through seminars and online education across the UK, Europe, Africa, and beyond. He also co-hosts the popular “2 Paed Chiros” podcast with Christian Fludder, breaking down all things paeds with humour and honesty.

Mike’s credentials include: 

• Chairman and fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors Pregnancy & Paediatrics Faculty.
• Developer and teacher of paediatric modules for the Logan University (USA) “Masters in Integrative Paediatrics Degree.”
• Mike wrote and taught the 15-week competency standard for paediatric care for the University of Johannesburg (South Africa)
• Mike is currently in collaboration with experts in the field to create the “Pregnancy and Paediatric Competencies” for the Royal College of Chiropractors Pregnancy and Paediatrics Faculty and teaches on these in the United Kingdom.
• Mike has published scientific works regarding plagiocephaly, ADHD, manual therapy for excessively crying infants as well as chiropractic interventions in developmental delay.
