The Golf Performance Adjustment System™
Andrew Robson Golf Chiropractor
A Chiropractic System for Assessing and Improving Golf Performance Through Joint Function and Neurology
Fix The Body, Transform the Swing!
1. Core Principles
– CNS control of movement
– Role of joint mechanoreception
– Why specific dysfunction ≠ visible in active screens
2. Motion Palpation Framework
Regions:
Beginner Level (This Seminar)
– Hip / pelvis (rotation engine)
– Thoracic spine (rotation driver)
Intermediate Level:
– Lumbar spine (stability vs compensation)
– Cervical spine (orientation + balance)
Advanced Level:
– Foot & ankle (ground interaction)
– Knee (control, not just hinge)
– Wrist, hand and elbow
For each:
What “normal” feels like
What dysfunction feels like
What it means for performance
“We don’t just observe movement—we assess the joints driving it.”
3. Linking Palpation to Swing Faults & Compensatory Pain Syndromes
– Pelvic restriction
– Thoracic restriction
– Hip restriction
“Joint function dictates neurological output.”
4. Adjustment Model (Practical with Live Demonstration)
Region-by-region:
– When to adjust
– How it affects output
Emphasis:
– Specificity
– Intent
– Expected outcome
– Assess → Adjust → Re-Test Loop
“Change the input, change the movement.”
5. Clinical Integration
– Integrate into your Exam
– Build Care Plans
6. Marketing:
– Positioning to golfers
– Market to the golf industry
