Live seminars or online learning? What shall I do?

We are extremely lucky in Chiropractic, that we have chiropractors across the world creating incredible learning opportunities for us, and without these, we would not be able to grow, develop and continually improve as a profession in the way that we do.

It is of our opinion, that each type of learning is extremely beneficial in its own way.

Here’s our thoughts:

Live seminars:

Live seminars are of course the top of the list. They provide an opportunity not only to learn in person and directly- generally with both a combination of theory and practical. But they also provide an opportunity to meet more chiropractors and people who are interested in the same areas as you. It’s an opportunity to connect and feel like you are a part of that community, to network and find out more about other opportunities, encouraging even further personal growth. Lastly, it’s by far the most engaging way to learn new skills and techniques and really refine what it is that you are learning so it can be of maximal use in practice.

Online learning:

Online learning hasn’t always been so accessible or well known or well advertised as live seminars. However, there are so many chiropractors and platforms across the world with a variety of options for online learning. This can vary from very short courses to large comprehensive courses. This is of course extremely valuable as it can be completed wherever you are and whenever you want to do it, in whatever time frame.

Webinars:

Webinars tend to be shorter periods of time, 1-2 hours, and can be great for smaller bursts of learning. Many educators use them as a snippet of their longer courses to give you an insight into what it is you can learn from them. We think webinars can be a great way to decide what courses/ seminars you want to do next to further your knowledge. Sometimes, webinars are free too, which is always a bonus. Keep an eye out for our monthly webinars we plan to run, to give you insights into the educators listing with us.

Coaching:

Chiropractic coaches can be great for growth as an individual or business. We have lots of different types of coach in chiropractic, some teaching us how to get busy as an associate, and others teaching us how to take our business to the next level. All of them provide huge value in their particular areas.
